The Duck Who Cried Wolf is the second story from the 9th episode of Season 2 and the 44th story overall of PB&J Otter. In this story, Flick tries to scare PB&J during a front-yard campout by repeatedly yelling, "Bear!" when, of course, there is no bear. Sure to Flick it's great fun for a while...until he spots a bear walking around in the yard.
Trivia[]
- In one point of the story, Flick says "There's no way you can shut me up!".
- Ironically, this is not the kind of sentence that should be said on a preschool show. This remained uncut on Disney Junior.
- Flick gets the idea to scare PB&J from the story, 'The Boy Who Cried Wolf '.
- This is the second of the two stories where Flick has gotten grounded for doing something wrong. The first one was in The Tell-Tale Candy Wrapper. In this episode (The Duck Who Cried Wolf), Flick kept crying "Wolf!". And Shirley Duck grounded him for a week and could have no cherry pie for the duration of his grounding.
- Coincidentally, both stories are the 2nd stories of their respective episodes.
- Both are also in the same season and were centered around Flick.
- Coincidentally, both stories are the 2nd stories of their respective episodes.
