Pinch Raccoon is a young female raccoon and Jelly Otter's best friend. She is the older sister of Scootch, and cousin to Ricky Raccoon. Her parents are Walter Raccoon and Wanda Raccoon. Pinch is a girly girl and enjoys being so. She likes anything pretty, tea parties, flowers, dresses, lace, and the color pink. Pinch has a creative imagination and likes stories of castles, princesses and adventure. Her best friend, Jelly, does not always share these interests, but the two still get along swimmingly. They made a pact to be best friends forever and were very upset when it looked for a while in "Pinky Pledge" that Pinch might have to move away from Lake Hoohaw. In "The Silent Treatment," Jelly and Pinch had an argument and almost lost their friendship but, with the help of Peanut, they remained friends.

Pinch is quite often seen together with her younger brother Scootch, though the two are very different; Scootch is excitable and energetic, while Pinch tends to be more demure in nature. Even so, Pinch often enjoys playing together with her brother when she can.

In "Munchy's No Big Deal," Pinch admits that she finds the giggle fits she often gets embarrassing. Pinch collects flowers and puts them in an album, as seen in "Collector's Edition."

A vision of feminine finery, Pinch is a 7-year-old girl raccoon who lives with her family in a fish-shaped houseboat next door to the Otters. You can count on Pinch to keep herself and everything around her clean and neat and well-decorated.
